I appreciated hearing your thoughts when you called in to Mark Steyn recently.

Next time you are in southern Utah stop in at the Maynard Dixon Living History Museum which we own and maintain. You'll be glad you did.

Heard you for the first time when you called Rush's show to enlighten us all about the Govt. taxpayer's Elko NV cowboy poetry gathering! Featuring the same 3 or 4 poets year after year. If more of us western life style and cowboy lovin' folks knew about this waste of our hard-earned money, Elko would shut down! Hope to someday be able to see you in person.

Rudy Gonzales Monday, 4 April 2011 18:29
Howdy Debra,

Thank you for your kind words. I responded to Mark Styne (Hosting for Rush Limbaugh) after I heard him along with others talking about the Elko's endowment funds. As I listened I knew they were on the right track but they lacked important facts, which I provided.

I had heard just about enough of the callers who called to trash him for his comments about Elko getting tax payers money to produce a poetry show that was a scam. So I gave the number a try and got right in.

I spoke with the screener who told me that Mark Styne was not going to take any more callers about the Elko poetry event. After I identified myself he told me that Mark indeed would like to talk with me.

I have been trying to retire for over five years but folks do keep calling me. I do love to make folks laugh and I always looked to keep the gatherings what they were intended to be. And that is a forum for working cowgirls and cowboys to share their stories, poems and songs. Not a forum for old washed up never been Nashville singers.

Again thank you for your note. I have received them from all over the nation. It is a 100% approval record from all of the e-Mail and phone calls. from as far east as Rhode Island and most every state has joined in and thanked me.

God bless and adios for now,

Rudy

Hi Rudy,
I love your website! I work in the library at the Rocky River Middle School (a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio) and we have chosen a cowboy/western theme for our Right to Read Week in February. I found your website browsing for ideas. To bad we don't live closer!

It is fun folks like you that make me love to entertain in Montana. I hope to meet you and your hubby sometime at one of my shows in Montana.

Eddie,

I am honored that such a renowned guitar maker and such an accomplished musician would be interested in being part of a working cowboy's show.

It is seldom that great musicians and cowboys play well together but you do sound like a great guy. I will be looking forward to your cd.

Rudy, it was great talking to you on the phone today. I will be sending you my order form. My brother Jer loves Cowboy poetry and has traveled to different places to listen. I always enjoy the stories he comes back and recites. I enjoyed listening to the items on your website and have no doubt that he will be both surprised and thrilled with this gift.
I am looking forward to listening to your poetry the next time you are in Salt Lake.
Best,
Joyce

Howdy and welcome to my new guest book,

It became necessary to replace the old one due to virus in my pc. All is well once again and I would love to hear from you. If you will go to my web site at [www.cowboyrudy.com] you will find my e-Mail address. It is best now that I do not list it on the web site for the spamers to get. I will treat your e-Mails with the same considerations.

I would love to hear from you. I love to entertain and make folks laugh. Of course my shows are always family friendly.

If called from anywhere in Idaho, there is never a long distance call to you. If you call from anywhere in the United States I be happy to call you back on my dime. (208) 890-6869.

You may find it more convenient to go to the upper right hand corner of this Guest book, there you can send a message with signing in.

Thank you for stopping by.
